About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at ACS Recruitment Solutions Ltd. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for creating and completing quotes in a timely manner, adhering to company processes and procedures to ensure client requirements and timescales are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to email queries and problems within your competency level, escalating where necessary to relevant departmental managers.
  • Liaise with colleagues and external companies in a professional manner.
  • Review quote requirements and request additional information if required.
  • Review asset plans, technical drawings, and offer letters.
  • Complete network studies and produce cost models and proposal letters.
  • Review and produce re-quotes and variations according to developer requests.
  • Provide regular updates to the Tendering Manager and Business Development Managers.
  • Review colleagues' work and provide constructive feedback.
  • Chase clients and update trackers.
  • Undertake electronic filing to ensure all correspondence is available and easily found.
Requirements
  • A basic understanding of utilities and tendering.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office packages, including Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
