Empowering Learning at a Secondary School in Skipton

We are seeking an exceptional educator to join our team from January 2025.

The school is committed to providing the very best opportunities for students across the school. As a key member of the subject development team, you will contribute to the strategic direction of your subject area, lead training programmes, and enhance music practice throughout the school.

In this role, you will deliver exceptional, engaging, and ambitious lessons that foster opportunities for colleagues to learn and grow their practice.

  1. Provide outstanding teaching for learning that meets the needs of all students.
  2. Support the school in raising standards of teaching and learning across the department and monitor progress towards agreed aims.
  3. Sustain and challenge other staff in the school through teaching and learning programmes.
  4. Support the school in implementing agreed whole-school policies and initiatives.
  5. Plan and facilitate professional learning workshops as requested.

The successful candidate must:

  1. Hold a teaching qualification.
  2. Demonstrate outstanding teaching practice.
  3. Have experience in improvement planning.
  4. Contribute to the impact on the quality of learning and teaching and curriculum.
  5. Have experience in high-quality pupil tracking and feedback practices.
Salary and Benefits

This permanent full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Music Teacher to make a significant impact at our client school. Estimated salary: £37,425 - £47,550 per annum.
