Classroom Leader

We are seeking a qualified and experienced cover supervisor to join our dedicated team at Opogo Secondary School in Brixton, London. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for leading classes in the absence of a teacher and providing support to students.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an educational setting, preferably in a support role, and be able to demonstrate effective classroom management skills. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the planning and delivery of tailored educational activities for students.
• Providing one-on-one and small-group support to students.
• Confidently leading in a classroom alone and fostering an inclusive environment.
• Assisting and leading with classroom management and behavior support.
• Maintaining good relations with students, staff, and parents.

The salary for this position is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. Opogo offers a range of benefits, including flexible scheduling and higher rates for its educators.
