About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading manufacturing business in Preston.

This is a permanent role created due to business expansion and growth. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical Maintenance and experience working with Industrial equipment.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Hydraulics/Pneumatics/Motors/Pumps/Conveyors and a good understanding of Electrical Maintenance principles, including PLC Fault Finding.

This is a shift-based role working 4 on 4 off (2 days 6AM-6PM + 2 nights 6PM-6AM). A competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, is on offer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is in a safe and serviceable condition and will work closely with the maintenance team to achieve this goal.
