Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to kick-start your career in the culinary industry with Skerntrainingandskills, a seaside themed café serving breakfast and lunch. As a Production Chef Apprentice, you will be responsible for undertaking food preparation and cooking of items as directed by the Head Chef.

The ideal candidate will have some existing experience in cheffing operations or a catering background, with Maths and English at Grade 4 desired. You will be supported by an Industry expert assessor throughout your apprenticeship, gaining a Production chef qualification and Functional Skills in Maths and English if required.

Your working week will be varied, with 5 out of 7 days on a rota, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Due to the nature of the business, you will often be on your feet for the entirety of the shift.

We offer a competitive salary of £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, depending on experience, and excellent opportunities for professional development and progression.
