Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Centre Representative to join our team at Carrier. As a key member of our rental sector support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative and sales support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer enquiries and record information regarding their accounts and equipment requirements.
  • Provide high-level sales support by responding to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Open new customer and supplier accounts through Carrier Portals and complete the MK Denial process.
  • Generate hire and sales quotations.
  • Process customer sales and hire purchase orders, liaising with depots and rehires on equipment availability.
  • Communicate with customers to ensure they are satisfied with their hired equipment and manage POs.
  • Process equipment exchanges, off-hires, and report any losses or damages to customers.
  • Deal with invoice queries, including processing suspension requests.
  • Run and check pre-invoice reports to capture and resolve any anomalies.
  • Manage on-hire and off-hire documentation, processes, and procedures.
  • Raise purchase orders for company CAPEX.
  • Follow quality processes and participate in external and internal quality audits.
  • Promote group USPs to customers.
  • Contribute to the budget and sales strategy.
  • Identify opportunities, produce leads, and book appointments for the sales team.
  • Research and develop specific industry sectors.
  • Manage a database to a high level of accuracy for targeted marketing activity.
  • Liaise with all departments to ensure customer requirements are met.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Previous administrative and sales experience (ideally in the rental sector).
  • A proactive approach focused on customers.
  • Excellent communication and telephone skills.
  • Strong MS Office skills.
  • Self-motivation and a willingness to develop.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
