We're revolutionizing the electric vehicle ownership experience by building a smart, user-friendly platform for charging. Our goal is to simplify public EV charging and make it accessible to everyone.
In just three years, we've grown into one of the largest eMobility players globally, with over 800,000 connected chargers and a customer base spanning web, iOS, Android, CarPlay, Android Auto & Automotive OS.
We're expanding internationally, partnering with automotive and tech companies, and developing exciting new features at scale. We're looking for ambitious individuals who share our passion for sustainability and want to join us on this journey.
Our team is multifaceted, comprising product, development, commercial, operations, marketing, partnerships, and more – all focused on making Octopus the go-to name in EV charging. As a Business Development Manager, you'll play a key role in selling our services to businesses and fleet operators, ensuring their transition to electric vehicles is seamless.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and managing your sales pipeline with customers, from lead generation to delivery.
- Shaping and driving the acquisition of new customers, generating your own leads while benefiting from shared leads across the wider Octopus group.
- Managing your pipeline and tracking progress in our CRM system.
- Championing customer satisfaction, recording best practices, and sharing insights to improve the customer experience.
As a representative of Octopus Energy, you'll provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and after-sales support. You'll also collaborate with the wider teams to develop strong relationships both internally and externally with customers.
This role includes an uncapped commission structure as part of the overall package. You'll be based in our London office and occasionally work remotely.
