Job Description

  • This role is responsible for managing and reporting on group credit control, ensuring prompt payment from customers.
  • The successful candidate will allocate all monies received for the group using Sage software and process daily debtor uploads to a third-party factor facility.
  • They will build and maintain good working relationships externally and internally, assisting department heads with debtor collection and management of bad and doubtful debts.
  • Maintaining promised monies reporting is essential, regularly updating directors and managers.
  • Working with external bankers and credit providers to ensure accounting systems operate in conjunction with external systems is also required.
  • The Financial Controller will be supported in identifying internal control weaknesses and implementing new systems.
  • Frequent communication with directors regarding final account reconciliations is necessary.

Salary Range

  • The estimated salary for this role is £30,000-£36,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
