About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skill Trades Bricklayer to join our responsive repairs team at Platform Property Care, a well-established property maintenance business within the Platform Housing Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out repairs and maintenance work as a Bricklayer, with experience in other trades an advantage
- Work in a fast-paced environment, meeting a wide range of customers and delivering work to a high standard
- Be a team player, with a can-do attitude and excellent communication and customer service skills
- Have a strong focus on delivering work right first time, with good organisational skills and the ability to keep jobs on track
- Be willing to work on the out-of-hours rota as required, with the opportunity to earn additional income
Requirements
- NVQ L2 Bricklaying qualification
- Experience of working as a Bricklayer in the building trade, either as a Bricklayer or as a multi-skilled Bricklayer
- Experience of working for a Social Landlord, housing association or council
- Associated trade skills of basic carpentry, decorating and groundsworks
- Experience of delivering multi-trade work
- Good organisational skills and the ability to keep jobs on track
- Full driving licence
- DBS check required due to working with customers in their homes
