About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Information & System Data Specialist to join our team at SSE. As an Asset Information & System Data Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of data related to asset management, particularly within our enterprise asset management system, Maximo.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the construction of planned maintenance within IBM Maximo and the continuous development of the asset register, as well as data entry and manipulation.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time and to the agreed quality standard.
  • Prepare all required data to ensure integrity and validation, while developing, manipulating, and mapping final deliverable load files, ensuring quality and integrity comply with SSEN specifications.
  • Monitor the performance of vendors and other direct suppliers in their contractual conformance with regard to data deliverables and provide the business with effective reporting from related systems to provide timely and accurate performance indicators and information on emerging trends within the asset data.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role, with strong operational knowledge of Maximo.
  • Experience on ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) activities within IBM Maximo and from other systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perceptive with an appreciation of the regulatory context that the data being delivered into our systems will be vital for working within a tightly regulated framework.
