Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Gov Facilities Services Limited (GFSL). As an Electrical Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our facilities, including HMP Bullingdon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Electricians and General Maintenance staff to deliver electrical services and maintenance across the site.
  • Coordinate and direct third-party contractors and employees to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Develop and implement risk management and compliance strategies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from various departments to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years' experience as an Electrician, ideally within an FM environment and/or secure environment, military, health, or similar sectors.
  • Qualifications equivalent to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations.
  • Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical or building service systems.
  • A certificate in BS7671 - The Requirements for Electrical Installations, 17th or 18th Edition.
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge.
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and people skills.
