About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to oversee the construction and installation process of noise control projects and enclosures on various sites. As the first-line contact of Merford UK (Sonobex Limited) on site, the successful candidate will handle customer interactions and updates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Supervise the construction and installation of noise control projects and enclosures, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
  • Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and manage subcontractor installation partners, ensuring they meet the Merford UK (Sonobex Limited) high standards and project requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and enforce quality standards throughout the construction and installation process, addressing any issues promptly to maintain high-quality outcomes.
  • Health and Safety Management: Implement and oversee health and safety protocols on-site, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and promoting a safe working environment.
  • Customer Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for customers on-site, conducting regular update meetings and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, safety inspections, and quality checks.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on noise control or related fields.
  • Possess knowledge and/or understanding of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and quality management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to represent Merford UK (Sonobex Limited) professionally to clients, subcontractors, and the internal organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in an industrial environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing challenges on-site.

Merford UK (Sonobex Limited) is a leading company in the noise control industry and acoustic materials. Our group of companies operates under the Merford flag, located in the Netherlands, Belgium, and the United Kingdom. We have our own production facilities located in The Netherlands, including a state-of-the-art sheet metal processing machine.

Our Merford UK office has been part of the Merford Group for seven years and is a pioneer in the field of noise reduction for the energy sector. Solutions are provided in the form of acoustic enclosures or noise barriers. Merford UK has a focus on particularly challenging low-frequency noise issues.
