The Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Senior Consultants who will be part of our EIA teams, with specialisms in infrastructure and/or property EIA.

Applicants need to be client-focused with a positive and proactive attitude, excellent communication and organisational skills, and happy to work as part of a team.

They will work closely with our internal teams and a wide range of external partners to deliver across a range of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. To have a thorough knowledge of EIA, including relevant guidelines, as well as the planning and consenting process.
  2. To have a proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams for EIA, on time and on budget.
  3. To have excellent project management, report writing, and client liaison skills, with a keen eye for detail and a positive attitude towards business development.
  4. To be able to work on complex projects, managing multiple stakeholders, and delivering results on time and within budget.
  5. To be passionate about learning and professional development, ensuring client satisfaction is achieved on time and within budget.

Requirements

  1. To have 4-8 years of consulting experience, depending on the grade, with client-facing experience desirable.
  2. To have project delivery experience, with a strong work ethic, able to be organised, flexible, and motivated.
  3. To have demonstrable experience contributing to, and for seniors, managing the delivery of, EIA projects.
  4. To be confident, show initiative, be enthusiastic and outgoing with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, having the ability to liaise at all levels.
  5. To be degree-educated and working actively towards membership and/or chartership of a relevant professional institute.

Desirable Skills

  1. Project management experience or relevant qualifications such as APM etc.
  2. A specialist in one or more of the traditional EIA disciplines, planning or sustainability.
  3. Awareness and understanding of environmental management plans/CoCPs (or equivalent) to support construction property development projects.
  4. Project management qualifications such as APM, Prince 2 etc.
  5. Experience of work on major infrastructure projects and programmes, including energy and/or water experience, desirable.
