About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at Dalkia UK, covering commercial sites in the Hertford and Cambridge area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to commercial settings throughout the region to perform planned preventative maintenance on building services equipment.
  • Carry out reactive and emergency breakdown tasks as allocated, ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with agreed service levels.
  • Conduct inspections, fault finding, and diagnosis to identify and resolve electrical issues.
  • Maintain site-based records and log books, and complete job sheets electronically on a tablet or smartphone.
  • Proactively work to reduce energy consumption on client sites and recommend improvements.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, compliance, and local policies and procedures.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with customers through face-to-face, telephone, and email communication.
Working Hours and Benefits
  • Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm, with overtime available.
  • Additional earnings available through overtime, if desired.
  • Van and tools provided.
  • 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, plus the option to purchase an additional 5 days leave every year.

Qualifications and Experience Required
  • City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical or equivalent.
  • Commercial building maintenance experience in a customer-facing environment.
