The Role and the Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, English Literature, or a related field (a teaching qualification is preferred)
  • Proven experience in teaching English, literature, or language either through previous employment or student teaching
  • Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking skills, focusing on both practical and creative aspects of the English language
  • Foster a love for literature and promote critical thinking and analysis skills through the study of literary works
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement effective teaching strategies to support student development
