**Job Title:** Deputy Manager - Hospitality Operations
**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to support the management of our YHA Brecon Beacons hostel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, managing operational budgets, and contributing to the achievement of business targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the management of the hostel's day-to-day operations, including food and beverage, housekeeping, and reception duties.
- Contribute to the achievement of business targets, including revenue growth and cost control.
- Manage a team of employees and occasional volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
- Assist in the development and implementation of operational strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a hospitality or customer-facing role, with a strong track record of delivering excellent customer experiences.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to manage a team and motivate staff to achieve business objectives.
- Strong budgeting and financial management skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
