Job Title: Sales Support AssistantJob SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Support Assistant to join our sales team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by managing administrative tasks, helping to coordinate sales activities, and ensuring smooth communication between the sales team and other areas of the business, both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the sales team with day-to-day administrative tasks, including responding to pricing queries, preparing sales reports, and completing customer and supplier new product forms.
- Assist in the preparation of sales proposals and presentations, as well as supporting the sales team with organizing product samples and supporting customer training events outside of the office environment.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing product information, answering questions, and supporting the resolution of issues, in collaboration with the supply chain team.
- Maintain and update customer and supplier records, including customer and supplier price lists, and company and product information, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Prepare and distribute sales reports, with a view to providing analysis to assist the sales team in identifying trends and opportunities.
- Liaise with other departments, such as Supply Chain and Finance, to ensure any sales prevention challenges are resolved and overcome as quickly and smoothly as possible, while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- University graduate preferred.
- Some experience in a sales support, administrative, or customer service role is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with sales and inventory systems is a plus.
