Therapist - CBT Interventions for Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to join our friendly and multi-disciplinary team at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. This is a maternity cover role, offering 2 days a week on a fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, accept and prioritise referrals to the service, adhering to local operational policy.
- Contribute to clinical development, team clinical thinking, and support the clinical leadership team alongside clinical coordinators.

We are looking for a qualified and accredited CBT therapist with relevant experience in delivering CBT interventions to children and young people. The ideal candidate will have a degree in nursing, social care or psychology, and CBT certification accredited by the British Association of Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapy.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, carers and other professionals. They will also have a strong commitment to continuing professional development and a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
