About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Cardiac Diagnostic Specialist to join our team in the Diagnostic Cardiology department. As a specialist in this field, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of complex cardiac investigations and interpreting results to inform patient care.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in cardiology, with experience in non-invasive procedures and a proven track record of delivering exceptional patient care. You will work closely with other specialists and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To perform analyses and interpret complex cardiac investigations, generating factual reports as required.
  • To work autonomously as the lead physiologist in a broad range of non-invasive investigations, including provocative tests.
  • To prioritize and organize clinical caseloads, re-adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing clinical situations or patient needs.
  • To communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure best possible care for patients.

Requirements:

  • BSc(hons) Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) / BSc(hons) Healthcare Science (Cardiology) or equivalent qualification.
  • Registered or eligible to register with RCCP, AHCS, or HCPC.
  • SCST Diploma in Electrocardiography interpretation or willingness to undertake Immediate Life Support training.
  • Post-qualification experience of at least 12 months working as a Cardiac Physiologist/Healthcare Science practitioner.
