At The Woodshack Ltd (trading as Calshot), we're seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our restoration business, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in industrial and commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain electrical systems, ensuring compliance with UK electrical regulations (BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations) and health & safety legislation.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, ensuring timely repairs and adherence to safety standards.
  • Work on electrical control systems, motors, lighting, wiring, and switchgear installations.
  • Collaborate with other trades and contractors on larger projects, including refurbishment and new build developments.
  • Attend client sites to perform electrical maintenance and emergency repairs.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • 18th Edition (BS 7671) certification required.
  • ECS Gold Card.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical work.
  • City and Guild 2391.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety regulations, including risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Valid UK driving licence (required).
  • Ability to work off-site/away from home.
