Job Title: Clinical Psychologist - Neuropsychology

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our team in providing specialist clinical neuropsychology services to stroke survivors and individuals with brain injury in the Dartford area.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality direct and indirect specialist psychological interventions to individuals with neurological conditions, making autonomous clinical decisions about own professional practice.
  • Contribute to the multi-disciplinary formulation of therapeutic/intervention plans and be involved in, or oversee, specialist psychological aspects of their implementation in collaboration with other staff.
  • Undertake psychologically based risk assessment and risk management for relevant individuals and provide advice on the psychological aspects of risk to the multi-disciplinary team.
About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist to build on and develop their skills in clinical neuropsychology and neurorehabilitation. The post is based in Gravesham Community Hospital and is primarily clinic-based, with occasional travel to patients at home and to Care Home settings.

Person Specification:
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
  • HCPC Registration
  • Other relevant CPD or training in Neuropsychology
