Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our team in Southwark. As a SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students with special educational needs. Your strong classroom management skills and ability to cater to individual learning needs will make you an ideal candidate for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Support: Deliver engaging lessons to students with SEN, adapting your teaching methods to meet their unique needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning for all students.
  • Communication: Establish effective relationships with parents and guardians to keep them informed about student progress.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your teaching skills and knowledge of SEN.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Teaching qualification with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a UK primary school setting, particularly with SEN, is required.
  • Training: Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year is desirable; some training will be provided.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • To be eligible for this role through Remedy Education, candidates must:
  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
  • Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide two professional references related to childcare or education.
