Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Trading Operations Specialist to join our team in Central London. As a Trading Operations Graduate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our trading activities around the globe.

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and operate trading platforms 24/7
  2. Identify and resolve inconsistencies, errors, and unusual behavior
  3. Develop insights into customer, counterparty, and market behavior
  4. Liaise with traders, counterparties, and trading venues on an ad-hoc basis
  5. Collaborate with developers and traders to improve the functionality of our platform

Requirements:

  1. Education to BSc level, ideally in a mathematical or scientific subject (2.1 or above from a red brick university)
  2. Good proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  3. Ability to quickly adapt to new applications
  4. Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision
  5. High degree of numeracy, including probabilities
  6. Aptitude for dealing with different time zones and currencies
  7. Comfortable making informed trading decisions
  8. Good organizational skills, with a structured approach to work
  9. Knowledge of SQL is an asset, but can be acquired on the job
  10. Strong interpersonal skills and a mature, responsible attitude
  11. Willingness to work flexible hours, with a focus on delivering results
