The role of the General Cleaning Operative plays a vital part in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment at Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the factory, ensuring all areas are kept tidy and free from hazards.
  • Empty rubbish bins and swarf bins on a regular basis to prevent overflow and maintain a clean and healthy workspace.
  • Contribute to painting and maintenance tasks as required, supporting the maintenance department in their efforts to keep the factory floors and walls in good condition.
  • Use initiative to identify and report any potential safety hazards or equipment issues, taking steps to mitigate risks and ensure continuity of operations.

About You:

  • You will have a strong understanding of general maintenance cleaning principles and practices, with experience in using power and non-power hand tools safely and effectively.
  • Able to work independently, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines and expectations.
