Birmingham LGBT is a leading organization in the LGBTQ+ community, committed to improving the sexual health of its members.

As a Sexual Health Outreach Specialist, you will join our community sexual health team and work towards reducing the incidence of STI infections and improving overall sexual health in the community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing sexual health services from the Birmingham LGBT Centre and in off-site outreach locations
  • Working closely with the Sexual Health Services Manager to develop and implement effective strategies for improving sexual health in the community
  • Collaborating with other organizations to provide comprehensive sexual health services

The successful applicant will have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in the LGBTQ+ community or in a similar role
  • A strong understanding of sexual health issues and services

Birmingham LGBT offers:

  • A competitive salary of £24,666 per annum (pro rata) plus up to 5% matched pension contributions
  • 18.5 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours
