Job Summary

The Royal Botanic Gardens Kew is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Arboretum Supervisor to join their team. As a key member of the Arboretum team, you will be responsible for the supervision of a wide range of areas within the Temperate Arboretum Section, including the Berberis Dell, Mediterranean Garden, Wild Rose collection, and Winter Garden.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage a team of horticultural staff to maintain the high standard of the Temperate Arboretum Section.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the collections and visitor experience.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure the smooth operation of the Arboretum.

Requirements

  • Recent and significant experience of working in horticulture, caring for a range of hardy woody plants and turf maintenance.
  • Horticultural qualification equivalent to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent relevant experience).
