About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Data Management Specialist to join our team at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Information Systems team, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our data warehouses and reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the development of new information databases and processing systems.
  • Develop web-based reporting tools, including designing, maintaining, and developing reports for different audiences.
  • Provide technical assistance to ensure data warehouses support Contracting/SLA reporting requirements.
  • Ensure data warehouses are structured for efficient data aggregation and analysis.
  • Lead the implementation of reporting tools and data warehousing for key performance indicators.
  • Manage upgrades to data warehouses and reporting tools.
  • Respond to queries regarding data integrity within the department's databases.
  • Assist Information staff with database analysis and data interpretation.
  • Support the Trust in the development and implementation of new information systems.
  • Investigate technical issues related to software or databases.
  • Work closely with the IT Technical Services Manager to manage application servers.
  • Ensure compliance with Data Protection Act recommendations.
  • Share responsibility for all aspects of data quality and information.

Requirements:

  • Educated to postgraduate level or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Substantial experience in Database Management in a complex environment.
  • Advanced experience of MS SQL server and database administration.
  • Report development using web/windows technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Business Intelligence, including Analysis Services.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
