About This Opportunity:

This Senior Electrical Engineer Lead position is a key role within our Power group, responsible for delivering cutting-edge protection systems for key energy projects.

Job Summary:

  • Lead cross-regional collaboration with our Australian business to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and implement designs that meet the highest industry standards, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Work directly with clients and contractors to define and meet project requirements, providing clarity and direction from tendering through to project completion.
  • Provide high-level technical and construction support to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals that align with client needs and business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, underpinned by deep technical knowledge and practical experience.
  • A minimum of 7-15 years of experience working with Power Utilities, with a focus on substation primary and secondary design for voltage levels ranging from 11kV to 330kV.
  • Proven expertise in producing settings files for relays from major protection relay manufacturers, coupled with experience in power system modeling using software like Digsilent Power Factory.
  • A thorough understanding of protection schemes and IEC61850, ensuring innovative and compliant designs.
