We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team at the University of East Anglia. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will provide expert technical knowledge and operational excellence, leading critical initiatives that align with the university's business needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing third-party contractors and ensuring the delivery of a customer-focused, value-for-money maintenance service that embraces industry best practices and statutory compliance.
  • Guiding team members, supporting training and development, and ensuring high standards of quality control and proactive building inspections.
  • Utilizing your skills in managing complex assets, planning and supervising maintenance work, and delivering exceptional customer service.

We offer a competitive salary range of £34,709 to £42,235 per annum, plus additional payments for roster duties and call-outs. You will also enjoy 39 days of leave, including bank holidays and customary days, as well as a comprehensive staff benefits package.
