Accounting and Payroll Coordinator

Trial Balance Consulting, a well-established services business, seeks a skilled Payroll Officer to join their finance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, verify, and process payroll data for 160+ staff members.
  • Address and resolve payroll queries from employees and management.
  • Liaise with the payroll bureau to ensure timely processing.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to the Group Accountant and stakeholders.
  • Monitor mileage claims and fuel cards.
  • Support the wider finance team on an ad-hoc basis.

This is a permanent, full-time position with hybrid working arrangements (Tuesday to Thursday office-based, Monday and Friday remote).

Requirements
  • Experience in payroll processes and best practice.
  • Strong numerical and IT skills, particularly in MS Excel.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
