We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Controller to join our team at Kent Blaxill & Co. Ltd. in Colchester.
- Manage a portfolio of circa 800 active accounts in the Credit Control department, utilizing effective communication skills to resolve payment issues.
- Develop and implement payment plans to ensure timely payment from non-paying accounts.
- Process and allocate incoming cheques, as well as facilitate credit and debit card payments from clients.
- Collaborate with the Management Accounts Team to complete monthly bank reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with Money Laundering Regulations by raising new trade accounts and associated paperwork.
- Maintain a high level of organization by completing daily tasks, including franking, parcel handling, and registered post.
- Stay up-to-date with current legislation concerning collections, including interest, Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act, and Court fees.
