Quality Engineer Role Overview

AWE is currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to work within the Production Quality Team. This role is ideally suited to candidates experienced in low to medium volume manufacturing, providing local Quality expertise to support numerous internal or external stakeholders within their specific area.

Key Responsibilities:

* Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems and related standards (e.g. Health & Safety, Environment, Security)
* Experience with deployment of problem-solving tools and analytical skills
* Good report writing and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* Basic Project Management knowledge
* Customer satisfaction and the tools and processes utilised in measuring business performance and delivery
* Good understanding of configuration and change management techniques
* Completion of vendor selection monitoring and management processes
* Auditing from definition/scheduling through to implementation, reporting and close out
* Providing quality resource estimates and budgets
