About the Department:
The Component Engineering department plays a vital support role within the engineering group and the wider business. As a Component Engineer, you will be part of a multi-disciplined team responsible for administration activities, technical advisement, making requests to suppliers, and responding to internal queries. Your primary focus will be on delivering a comprehensive component service offering technical advice and ensuring accuracy of data.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process and respond to support queries in a timely and accurate manner
  2. Process component data, ensuring compliance with Life cycle status, Export Control, and REACH/RoHS regulations
  3. Work within departmental processes to complete administration tasks efficiently
  4. Provide support for Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, or Material commodities
  5. Contribute to continuous improvement activities to enhance departmental processes

Required Skillset and Experience:

  1. Proven knowledge and experience of components and parts
  2. Engineering degree or relevant experience in a related field
  3. Proficiency in MS Office tools, Outlook, Excel, and Word
  4. Strong attention to detail and high concern for order and quality
  5. Able to handle multiple issues, tasks, and priorities concurrently
  6. Excellent communication skills to facilitate effective communication with key stakeholders
