Midday Supervisor and Playleader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Midday Supervisor and Playleader to join our team at Fairford School.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of pupils during the mid-day break period, leading play activities, and supporting the Little Explorers in nursery and pre-school.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children and has excellent communication skills.

• To supervise and support pupils during the mid-day break period, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• To lead play activities on the playground or in a class inside school.
• To assist the Little Explorers in nursery and pre-school with eating lunch and participating in learning activities.
• To set out tables and chairs before meals, supervise pupils returning trays and cutlery to clearing points, and assist generally during the service of the meal.
• To wipe down all tables and chairs after meals, clean the hall floor, and safely stack tables and chairs in the hall store.
• To ensure that pupils staying at school for the mid-day meal do not leave the premises without permission.

• A proven track record of experience working with children in a school setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• First aid training would be an advantage.

The role involves working outdoors and may require some physical activity. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have good time management skills.

The salary for this role is £23,500 - £26,000 per annum, depending on experience.
