Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team at Reed. As a Multi Trade Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance, responsive repairs, void works & property MOTs connected with all aspects of roofing and other specialist trades.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and Repair: Carry out routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the integrity and safety of buildings.
  • Responsive Repairs: Respond to emergency repair requests and complete work efficiently and effectively.
  • Void Works: Carry out work in vacant properties, including repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment.
  • Property MOTs: Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs.
  • Materials Management: Maintain and replenish stock of materials, including recording usage and ordering specialist materials as needed.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and report any incidents or near misses.
  • Quality Assurance: Deliver high-quality workmanship and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, and clients to ensure that work is completed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

  • Advanced Roofing Skills: Possess advanced skills in roofing and other specialist trades.
  • Multi Trade Experience: Have experience working in multiple trades, including roofing, carpentry, and other related fields.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility: Be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
