Job Title: Contracts Manager - Construction

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team at Anderselite Ltd, a leading SME Construction Contractor based in Chester. Our company specializes in refurbishment and extension projects for industrial units and manufacturing facilities across the Northwest and Midlands regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring projects meet their expectations and objectives.
  2. Estimating and Tenders: Prepare accurate cost estimates, tender documentation, and proposals for prospective projects, leveraging our blue-chip client base.
  3. Project Programming: Create and manage project schedules to ensure efficient project execution and timely delivery, focusing on quality and safety.
  4. Preliminaries Management: Effectively allocate resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to optimize project productivity and profitability.
  5. Client-Facing Role: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, providing regular updates and addressing concerns or inquiries promptly.
  6. Health & Safety: Implement and enforce rigorous health and safety protocols on construction sites, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members and subcontractors.
  7. Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control measures to maintain the highest standards of workmanship and adherence to industry regulations.
Requirements:
  1. Experience: Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, specifically working on construction projects ranging from £100,000 to £3.5 million for industrial and manufacturing facilities.
  2. Client Relationship: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with a track record of delivering projects to clients' satisfaction.
  3. Estimating Skills: Proficiency in preparing accurate cost estimates and tender documents for construction projects.
  4. Project Management: Strong project management skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and project tracking.
  5. Quality Focus: A dedication to delivering high-quality workmanship and adherence to industry standards.
  6. Location: Willingness to travel within the Northwest and Midlands regions to manage various projects.
