About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join our dynamic team at SSP Health. As the biggest provider of GP services in the North West, we offer a unique opportunity to work in an innovative environment and be part of a wider team with support available from existing PMs across our sites.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the local team of doctors, nurses, and staff at Claire House Surgery, Rivington Way Surgery, and Platt Bridge Health Centre.
  • Manage and motivate a dynamic and highly motivated team of Practice Managers.
  • Monitor performance targets and ensure excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Support practice engagement with the wider health economy, including local Primary Care Networks and community care providers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing people and monitoring performance targets.
  • Excellent leadership skills, confident with IT, and able to work flexibly in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to support practice engagement with the wider health economy.
