About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our dynamic and award-winning water team at WSP. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team leads in managing project delivery, including supervision of tasks and review of deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the urban drainage modelling capability in the team, ensuring we are at the forefront of the latest developments in the discipline.
  • Provide technical input on urban drainage projects and support our wastewater team in delivering current and future projects.
  • Support the team lead in managing the work of the local technical delivery team.
  • Develop and maintain excellent client relationships at all levels, coordinating and facilitating project meetings internally and with clients.
  • Promote the WSP brand through appropriate industry forums and conferences.
Requirements
  • A good working knowledge of Water Industry Specifications, Code of Practice for the Hydraulic Modelling of Urban Drainage Systems, and relevant British Standards.
  • Good presentation, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
