Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a M&E Project Engineer with Matchtech, a growing company with a solid customer base. The role involves assisting the Project Manager in overseeing onsite project work, including site survey, technical specification, quoting, delivery, and commissioning.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of onsite health and safety rules and regulations, with experience in confined space training and water hygiene training. An engineering background, particularly in Water Utilities and/or Power Industry, is also desirable.

The successful candidate will be required to attend site, liaise with clients, and survey new and existing client enquiries and jobs. They will interpret full client requirements, build specifications, detail site survey information, and take photographs. Liaising with the Project Manager to define specifications and costs is also crucial.

In addition, the candidate will enter all site survey information into the company's job costing system, liaise with suppliers and specialist sub-contractors to produce pricing for the job/project, and assist with procuring materials and organising site attendance. They will also assist the Project Manager in compiling and issuing job/project specific RAMS and client health and safety paperwork.

The position offers a competitive salary of £35,000-£45,000 per annum, 25 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays, and immediate enrolment within the company pension scheme. A company vehicle, mobile phone, and laptop are also provided.
