We are seeking an experienced Scrub Nurse / Theatre Practitioner to join our team at Optegra. As a key member of our operating theatre team, you will be responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance during ophthalmic surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in all aspects of the ophthalmic surgical pathway at Optegra
- Provide excellent care to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the surgical process
- Assist in peri-operative and post-operative care in the surgical and refractive suite of the hospital
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner qualification
- Current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions
- Qualification in Ophthalmology or Peri-operative care
- Minimum one year of experience in an ophthalmology theatre
- Knowledge of private and operating settings
