Job Description

**Senior Tax Accountant with ACCA**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant with ACCA qualification to join our team at Onyx-Conseil. As a member of our UK Tax team, you will play a key role in supporting the preparation of the tax return and completing the group tax submission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation of the tax return and complete the group tax submission.
  • Complete the necessary journal entries to close the accounting period and internal / external reporting based on the relevant accounting principles / policies.
  • Collaborate with the tax team and external tax advisers to complete Tax related tasks such as Corporate Income Tax and VAT return preparation.
  • Advise the business departments on accounting / tax issues.
  • Perform other various tasks related to the Company's accounting / tax matters based on instruction from the Manager / GM.

Requirements:

  • Extensive accounting and / or tax experience (particularly VAT) for more than 5 years.
  • Excellent team player with good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in IT skills using Microsoft software (Excel, Word, etc.) and SAP.
  • Preferably an undergraduate or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, Maths, Statistics, Business or Economics. ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualification is highly desirable.

Working Arrangements:

The position is hybrid and based in our office in London, with a flexible working arrangement of 3 days per week.
