About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Comms Engagement Manager Lead to join our dynamic Comms and Engagement team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the success of our internal communication and engagement strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on the development and implementation of our engagement and communication strategy, working closely with the Head of Communication & Engagement.
  • Manage and improve group-level comms channels, responsible for reviewing, developing, maintaining, and delivering comms channels.
  • Plan, design, develop, and deliver effective campaigns and content to drive improvements in engagement, aligned with business requirements.
  • Advise and support Exec and SLT members in delivering engaging communications and colleague engagement support, driving understanding, insight, and engagement among specific audiences.
  • Lead the successful management and delivery of comms events, including strategy roadshows, annual awards, celebrations, and social events.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, consulting, influencing, and onboarding to improve the success of IC and the broader People Agenda.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in internal communication and engagement delivery, particularly in large-scale, complex, fast-paced organizations.
  • Demonstrable record of leading interventions contributing to business success, from diagnostic to delivery.
  • Ability to translate organizational objectives and strategic plans into tactical delivery activities across various channels and media.
  • Expert knowledge of communication strategies, technologies, trends, and techniques.
  • Knowledge and experience of Enterprise Social Networks, such as Yammer or Workplace.
  • Understanding and enthusiasm for applying continuing developments in technology and social media.
  • Experience working with senior-level management, influencing and challenging key business decision-makers constructively.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with strong planning, organizational, and collaborative delivery skills.
