Project Manager Role

Ultra I&C's Cyber business is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team at a busy and exciting time. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for executing projects throughout the project life cycle in accordance with business strategy, standards, process, and policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating and maintaining Project Management Plans to ensure timely and responsive completion of deliverables
  • Developing and maintaining project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
  • Identifying stakeholders and creating and maintaining project Communications Plans
  • Developing strategies for effectively engaging stakeholders in project decision and execution
  • Managing and controlling costs as per the project budget
  • Reporting and presenting project KPIs to Senior Management Team
  • Managing project scope within defined time, budget, and quality objectives
  • Identifying and performing integrated change control
  • Facilitating communications between key internal department resources
  • Acquiring, developing, and managing project team resources
  • Mediating problems/issues encountered by project team members
  • Managing external-facing customer relationships
  • Supporting Procurement to establish and maintain key supplier relationships
  • Conducting risk management planning, identification, analysis, and response planning
  • Maintaining project records in accordance with project management processes and company policies

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Holds or can obtain a Project Management qualification (PMI, APM, or global equivalent)
  • Desirable for education of Bachelor's degree level or equivalent project experience
  • Action-oriented person who drives results with strong customer focus
  • Strong communicator with excellent leadership skills
  • Highly ethical behavior, instills trust, and demonstrates and promotes Ultra values
  • Proficient in planning and schedule management
  • Competent in conflict management and communication, governance, resource and capacity management, business case generation, financial management and controls, risk management, procurement and subcontract management, and stakeholder management
