About the Role:

TikTok, the leading destination for short-form mobile video, seeks a seasoned Food Safety and Quality Manager to develop and implement regional food safety strategies, ensuring compliance and driving excellence across all levels of the organization.

This is a challenging role that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and have experience in developing and implementing large-scale safety programs with innovation and forward-thinking analytics.

  1. Develop Regional Food Safety Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive food safety strategy for the region, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and industry best practices.
  2. Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with food safety regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to standards and protocols.
  3. Implement Risk Management Controls: Design and implement risk management controls and procedures for food operations, ensuring the highest level of food safety and quality.
  4. Audit and Inspection Program: Develop and direct the implementation of the regional audit and inspection program, ensuring compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
  5. Training and Development: Create and operationalize the regional food safety training program and guidance mechanisms, ensuring employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
  6. Stakeholder Partnerships: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to food safety standards and protocols.
  7. SOPs and KPIs: Design, track, and present Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor program effectiveness and performance.
  8. Innovative Programs: Accelerate and drive innovative, forward-thinking programs and guidelines for new sites and changing food delivery models.
  9. Incident Investigations: Conduct investigations and root cause analysis together with the EHS team for food safety incidents.
  10. Regulatory Agency Management: Manage relationships with regulatory agencies and third parties as required.
  11. Industry Trends: Embed current, forward-thinking, and innovative industry trends, regulations, and practices into data-driven insights, analytics, and program enhancements.
