We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Compliance and Assurance Team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. As a Community Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of patient data, which is essential for meeting national standards and improving patient treatment times.
Main Responsibilities- Validate and analyze patient data to identify inaccuracies and inconsistencies, and implement corrective actions to ensure data accuracy.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, other departments, and services to ensure seamless data collection and reporting.
- Supervise staff and provide training and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to collect and analyze data accurately.
- Plan and lead meetings with colleagues and staff in other departments to discuss data collection and reporting processes.
- Assist in the collection and evaluation of data for audit purposes and provide support for all directorates in identifying areas requiring pathway reform and redesign for service improvement.
- Education to A-Level standard (or equivalent)
- Skilled in the use of a range of IT packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook
- Knowledge of the referral to treatment standards
- Experience of working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and challenging deadlines
- Minimum 1 year's experience of working towards performance objectives
- Proven supervisory experience within an office setting
- Previous experience training staff
- Experience of implementing change in a previous team
- Minimum 1 year's NHS working experience
