About the Role

This position is located within a private practice setting, providing quality psychological therapy and assessment to individuals. To be successful, you will be a fully registered psychologist with experience, passionate about delivering evidence-based interventions and strategies to overcome barriers that prevent clients from achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside other experienced psychologists to provide high-quality services to clients.
  • Participate in peer supervision and professional development sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Option to work as either a salaried employee or as a licensee, allowing for flexibility and autonomy.
  • Opportunity to specialize in a chosen area or work as a generalist, catering to diverse client needs.
  • Additional week of leave after 3 years of service and birthday leave after 6 months for salaried employees.
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Program for support and well-being.

Requirements

  • A track record of utilizing evidence-based intervention strategies and techniques.
  • Competence to work independently with excellent time management, administrative, and report writing skills.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with other health professionals and service providers.
  • Ability to work with NDIS participants and clients under Medicare funding.

Qualifications and Experience

Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist is required.
