We are currently seeking an experienced Aseptic Operations Coordinator to join our team, responsible for coordinating and ensuring the effectiveness of training and professional development of technical staff. This role requires a strong understanding of cGMP, Pharmaceutical Quality Systems, and regulations relevant to Aseptic Services.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will assist the Chief Pharmacy Technician and Quality Assurance Specialist in the management and development of Aseptic Services, particularly in workforce development and operational quality management. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and ensuring effectiveness of training and professional development of technical staff.
- Maintenance of the Pharmaceutical Quality System (PQS), as part of the management team.
- Supporting managing technical staff and the technical aspects of aseptic dispensing to ensure all products meet high-quality standards enforced by Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)/Quality Assurance systems and applicable regulations/guidance.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- NVQ Pharmacy Services Level 3 plus accredited underpinning knowledge or equivalent, along with Professional registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Training and/or Quality Management qualification or course.
- Significant knowledge of cGMP, Pharmaceutical Quality Systems, and regulations/legislation relevant to Aseptic Services.
- Experience in quality management processes such as deviations, change controls, and/or CAPA.
Competitive Salary and Benefits
This exciting opportunity comes with a competitive salary of £44,806 - £53,134 per annum, inclusive of HCA salary period yearly. Our comprehensive benefits package includes access to ongoing training and development opportunities, a pension scheme, and generous annual leave entitlement.
