Job Title: Personal Assistant - Community Companion

We are seeking a reliable and consistent Personal Assistant to provide support to an individual with autism and sensory needs. The successful candidate will have a calm and patient approach, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accompany the individual on outings and activities, such as bowling, cinema trips, and swimming sessions.
  2. Provide support with daily tasks, including meal preparation and personal care.
  3. Assist with road safety and navigation in the community.
  4. Develop and implement a support plan to promote the individual's social skills and independence.

Requirements:

  • Reliable and consistent approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Patience and understanding of autism and sensory needs
  • Business class insurance and a car driver's license
