Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma from an accredited institution to fill our Continuing Care position. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience as a Registered Nurse and current registration with the Bermuda Nursing Council.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, ranging from simple to complex cases.
  • Perform dependent functions as outlined in the medical plan of care.
  • Utilize the nursing process to develop a care plan for each assigned patient.
  • Act as a patient advocate, facilitating communication between patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Leverage clinical, hospital, and community resources effectively.
  • Use equipment and supplies safely and economically.
  • Assign, teach, and direct other nursing personnel as needed.
  • Assume Team Leader duties.
  • Commit to professional development by participating in continuing education programmes, staying current with professional literature, and engaging in professional organizations.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a salary of £75,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and advancement.

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must possess a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution and current registration with the Bermuda Nursing Council. A minimum of two years' experience as a Registered Nurse is also required.
