Senior Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Atlantis Medical Ltd. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a senior role and make a significant impact on patient care within a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a caseload of inpatient clients, delivering advanced occupational therapy interventions tailored to their complex needs.
- Conduct in-depth assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial functions to formulate comprehensive therapy plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the effective coordination and delivery of patient-centred care.
- Provide leadership and support to junior therapists and therapy assistants, guiding their development through supervision, mentorship, and training.
- Lead and participate in service improvement initiatives, contributing to the continuous improvement of inpatient occupational therapy services.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to promote recovery and facilitate timely discharge from hospital settings.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in accordance with NHS standards to ensure continuity of care and legal compliance.
Required Skills and Experience:
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Extensive experience working as a Band 7 Occupational Therapist with proven expertise in inpatient settings.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to guide and develop a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in conducting detailed assessments and managing a diverse caseload with complex needs.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently, exercise clinical judgment, and contribute to service development initiatives.
